Planter Makeover with Montana-Cans

Choosing the right plant for your home is important, but you can't forget about the planter. Here's how you can use Montana-Cans to give your planter a personal touch that reflects your style.

What you'll need:

Montana Spray Paint
Drop Cloth
Masking Tape

Step 1: Prep

Lay out your drop cloth where you'll be spray painting. Use masking tape to create a design on the planter– wherever you tape will stay the original color.

Step 2: Paint

Keeping the can 6-8 inches from your planter, spray an even layer of paint. Allow to dry for at least 15 minutes before applying a second coat.

Step 3: Dry

For best results, allow the paint to dry before removing the tape. Otherwise the paint can smudge.

Step 4: Plant

Once the paint is totally dry, you can pot your plant!

With just a few supplies from your neighborhood Orchard, you can create a one-of-a-kind planter that'll make other plants green with envy. Come by for everything you need– plants, paint, and friendly project advice!
